The Inspiration behind Naivasha Love Festival is Simple…. LOVE. The Festival is centered on celebrating the diversity of love for 4 days (13th to 16th February, 2020) in Naivasha. February will be dubbed the month of love in Naivasha. Our main objectives are to:

Increase Inbound Tourism

After several years of growth in tourism for Naivasha, inbound arrivals continued to increase in the area.

MICE and

Naivasha has always stood to be the most prefered for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions over the years and we intend to keep it so.

Create a signature event

A signature event that is going to happen each and every year, this being the first one of its kind in Kenya and Naivasha.

WHY NAIVASHA?

The love festival will be an annual event destined to push Naivasha as The Premiere Destination of Love in Africa positioning it for Exclusive Weddings and Events. Naivasha is a scenic destination with all infrastructure to accommodate this event. The annual event will be incomparable to any other as most love festivals in the world are one day events centered on music or the colour parade in India. Our plan is to have a month long celebration of love that is wholesome encompassing all aspects of love. Kenya is one of the largest exporters of cut flowers with Naivasha accounting for over 75% of the country’s flower cut exports hence the reason of why Naivasha is the host of the Love Festival. We propose to have the first Signature event in February 2020 and this will be an annual in partnership with the private sector coupled with support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Kenya Tourism Board to have this as a signature event for the destination.
